We’ve got more in store this month, so let’s get to it.
First up, we’d love for you to join us for a Type-In on Sunday, May 18 at Cherry Hills Public Library (6901 Barstow Street NE). This event begins at 2 pm and goes until 4 pm. Stop by anytime!
Try your hand at writing poetry, a short story, or even a love letter. Use our typewriters (models ranging from the 1920s to the 1970s) or bring your own. Soak up some magic from a pre-digital era!
Whether it’s been a while since you’ve used a typewriter or it’s your first time, ABQwerty Type Writer Society members will be on hand to help. We’ll supply the paper, you supply the inspiration. We’ll have spare ribbons on hand too.
Next, we are returning to Lala Bean & Green Cafe (6239 Montgomery Blvd. NE) for a Pop-up on Sunday, May 25! This is a casual gathering. We plan to be there from 1 to 3 pm, but feel to come and go as you please.
